Designed by Fieldwork for Assemble, 38 Albermarle Street comprises an exclusive collection of apartment residences arranged over 8 levels. This design embraces small footprint living, promoting sustainability and community within the city, catering to families, pets, cyclists and green thumbs, across generations. At its core is a landscaped, open-air walkway that enhances natural light and cross flow ventilation, improving the building's environmental performance.
The heritage facade, designed by Harry A. Norris, is preserved with art deco cues reflected in the vertical ribbing and communal interior design. Built with durable materials and flexible spaces, the design prioritises natural light, ventilation, and strong indoor outdoor connections. Communal spaces on the upper and ground floors encourage shared activities, defining the Assemble building experience. Interiors offer a simple, functional canvas for personalisation, free from unnecessary embellishment.
