About the role

Jellis Craig Port Phillip is seeking an experienced and driven Leasing Consultant to join our team in Elwood As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for managing the leasing portfolio of residential properties, ensuring a seamless experience for both Rental Providers and Renters . This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to build a rewarding career in the dynamic real estate industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively marketing and advertising available rental properties to secure high-quality renters
  2. Conducting property inspections and negotiating lease agreements
  3. Managing the end-to-end leasing process, including renter screening, reference checks, and lease renewals
  4. Maintaining excellent communication with Rental Providers and Renters, addressing any queries or concerns in a timely manner
  5. Ensuring all properties are well-maintained and comply with relevant legislation and regulations
  6. Collaborating with the broader property management team to achieve company-wide leasing targets

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in a real estate leasing or property management role
  2. Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills
  3. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  4. Proficient in using real estate software and technology
  5. Familiarity with residential tenancy legislation and regulations
  6. A positive, proactive, and solutions-oriented attitude
