May 2025 Update

The builder has returned from the Easter break and confirmed that they remain on target to complete building works at the end of June. Allowing a buffer to complete authority approvals and the title registration process, we remain on track for pre-purchaser inspections to occur from July and settlements from August.

While these are target dates, the completion of landscaping works may still be impacted by weather and other factors beyond the builder’s control.

We will start booking appointments with valuers for finance from the middle of June.
 

March 2025 Update

MAB is pleased to report our builder, Brady, has continued to make steady progress on site.
 
The final crane has now been removed, enabling the structure contractors to return and infill its slab penetrations providing clear space for commencement of hard landscaping.  
 
The builder has provided a completion date at the end of June 2025.  
 
Provided this remains on target we would expect to receive the authority approvals in July, calling for settlements in August 2025.

We will keep you updated on progress and look forward to organising valuations and pre-settlement inspections as we get closer to completion.

 

January 2025 Update

On Target for Mid-2025 Completion


With site works recommencing mid-January following the Christmas shutdown, 2025 is gearing up to be an exciting year. A significant construction milestone is the removal of the tower cranes. Two of the three have been dismantled with removal of the third crane slated for early February. Permanent power is due to be connected at the end of this month and if you’re local to the area you may have noticed landscaping, external footpaths and adjoining roadway works have now commenced. 

Construction progress for each building is detailed separately below, reflecting the sequential staging of the works:

Central:  High-level services rough in and internal wall partitioning is complete. Installation of joinery, timber flooring, floor and wall tiling, and painting works has commenced on the lower levels. The passenger lift is installed and commissioned. 

Aiken: Wall framing and plastering has begun following the completion of the high-level services rough ins and window installation. 

Edgars, Wallan and Merlynston: The passenger lift installation and commissioning is complete and fit out of the entry lobbies underway. Scaffolding has been removed following completion of the external façade works, and defecting of the Wallan and Merlynston buildings is underway. 

Malcolm: External façade works are nearing completion. High-level services, window installation and wall framing are complete, with plasterboard installation underway. Passenger lift installation has commenced and is nearing completion. 

Construction is on target for completion by mid-2025.
