On the field, Danny Frawley displayed all the attributes of a true St Kilda Football Club Champion: toughness, loyalty, courage and heart.
However, perhaps his most humbling characteristic was his honesty, particularly when it came to speaking openly about mental health.
2 in 5 Australians will face mental illness at some point in their lives. Along with their promise to immortalise Danny’s Legacy, the Danny Frawley Centre is committed to being proactive when it comes to mental health, transparent when talking about the benefits of existing mental health treatments, and determined in their effort to cultivate and encourage critical conversations.
The Centre is not only a proudly unique asset to the Bayside region, but also a game-changer in Australian sport - strengthening mental health outcomes for current and past athletes, as well as for the greater community.
We are proud to be a supporting partner of St Kilda Football Club’s ‘Spuds Game’ and sponsor of the Danny Frawley Centre.
To provide ongoing support, if you are a current St Kilda FC member and choose to list your property with Jellis Craig Bayside Glen Eira, we will donate 10% of the total sale commission to the Danny Frawley Centre. These funds will go to helping run mental health programs spanning mental fitness, suicide prevention and race-based discrimination.
