"As you are aware my mother passed away in January and I was faced with the task of selling her home. Your feedback prior to Auction was accurate and informative and I was pleased that you left the Auction reserve up to me to set based on the feedback and market information provided.
We felt we set a realistic but slightly on top end reserve for the Auction and of course we were thrilled to achieve a result of $ 60,000 above our reserve on the day of Auction. This was a terrific result as it represents equal to the price we were looking at 12 months earlier. Given the market price softening over last 12 months we never had this expectation in mind.
The result can be put down to a very well structured marketing campaign that was suitably tailored and targeted to the buyers in the houses price range – along with the broad mix of interest in the property coming through from your extended sales network.
