Springtime in Sydney

Spring In Sydney

Spring in Sydney is one of the best times of the year. The sun is out, the weather is balmy, and the city is abuzz with smiling tourists and happy families. Make the most of the stunning harbour city that is Sydney on one of these springtime outings.

Hit the Night Noodle Markets
From markets to workshops, tastings and talks, the joy of food is celebrated for a whole month during October at the Good Food Month festival. Take a stroll through Hyde Park and witness a bustling Asian bazaar of sumptuous tastes, smells and colours from one of the many stalls at the popular Night Noodle Markets.

Spot some sea life at Shelly Beach
For daytime exploration with the kids, jump on the Manly Ferry and head north to Shelly Beach and ogle at the active marine life under the waves at the picturesque cove. While the kids are busy, enjoy a seaside snack or coffee at the trendy Boathouse Shelly Beach.

Cruise along an iconic coastal walk
There is no better time to relish the great outdoors than on a classic coastal walk in spring. From Bondi to Coogee, Bradleys Head to Chowder Bay, and the Hermitage Foreshore Track, the city’s many coastal walks inspire with stunning views of beautiful beaches, rocky cliffs and iconic coves.

Grab a gelato
Spring and ice cream go hand-in-hand, especially if you’re visiting Gelato Messina. The famous Italian ice cream brand has several cafes dotted around the city serving over 40 gelato flavours, from the classics such as coffee to the unique and wacky such as spiced rhubarb. Grab the kids, grab a spoon and enjoy.

Laugh with the kids at Luna Park
Who can resist the historic fun park with amazing harbour views? We know the kids won’t be able to resist it come spring school holidays! Enjoy the ultimate family outing at Sydney’s last remaining amusement park and enter a world of crazy delights on rides such as the Hair Raiser, Wild Mouse, Mystery Manor and of course the nostalgic Coney Island funhouse.
