As director of Jellis Craig's Hawthorn and Balwyn offices, Steven leads his highly successful sales force by example. Steven is an exceptional and highly-awarded auctioneer and his market credibility is second to none.
Steven joined the flagship Hawthorn office in 1994 and, over the years, has developed a close affinity with the team members. He brings in-depth knowledge of the market place and a focus on innovative marketing strategies to every sale.
It is his mix of "field success" and excellent people management skills that saw Steven become business development manager in 2006 and then director of Jellis Craig's Stonnington office in 2009. Now he is applying his extensive corporate acumen in information technology and branding strategy to the ongoing success of the Hawthorn and Balwyn teams.
His easy rapport and likeable nature are perhaps attributable to his everyman sensibilities. He spent a few years at Hawthorn Football Club in his younger days, and this sporting persona is evident in Steven's sense of fairness, team strength and high spirits.
When away from the office, Steven loves spending time with his wife Emma and their three active young sons, Hugo, Angus and Charlie. He also enjoys a few rounds of golf when time permits.
