Award-winning agent and auctioneer Sophie Broadbent, formerly Sophie Houston, knows real estate inside and out. She has worked in the industry she loves for over a decade experiencing all facets of the trade. Her expertise and outstanding results won her the Novice Auctioneer of the Year in 2006. At that time she was only the third female to win the respected title. Sophie has also completed a Property Degree at RMIT providing her with exceptional industry knowledge from the very beginning.
Sophie’s enthusiasm for her work stems from a desire to excel and achieve the high standards she sets for herself. She is quick to take control of the sales process once given the brief and works tirelessly for every client. “I try to deliver a level of service I would expect myself,” she says. “Open and honest communication is part of that service as well as providing a clear plan of action agreed to by all parties.”
An ability to negotiate effectively is another strength of Sophie’s. This skill flows from her easy going and approachable manner, which quickly puts people at ease. Sophie’s expanding base of satisfied clients is testament to her ability to achieve impressive results whilst always acting professionally on their behalf.
Away from work Sophie spends time with family and friends. Husband Daniel Broadbent, who is also a dedicated member of the Jellis Craig sales team, works in the Doncaster office.
Our team of experienced professionals ensures Jellis Craig provides market-leading real estate services across Melbourne. Working together to deliver quality service and premium results, we bring honesty, integrity and accountability to every client interaction.
